Using the Free FMVis Edition gives you an idea about what the Licensed FMVis version does and how it can be of good use for you.

FMVis does not run on Mac OS X versions prior to 10.8 because it relies on libraries which are not contained within older systems. An update to 10.8 (or higher) is mandatory.
